Alex Kent

Managing Director

Alex executed over $45 million in real estate lease and investment transactions in 2008, making him one of the top producing commercial real estate brokers in the Bay Area. 

Alex's past experience includes serving as a Vice President at Cornish & Carey Commercial and as a top-ranked National Account Manager for MCI Telecommunications.

Alex is an active leader of Corporate Real Estate Network (CORENET) and recently created and moderated the May 2008 panel discussion at Google on "Developing a Winning Technology Strategy for RE Executives".  Alex is also a member/sponsor of National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and The Belden Club.

Alex earned a B.S. in Communications and Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Marketing, Finance and Entrepreneurship from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. 

Alex was recently named one of Northwestern University’s Top 70 Notable Alumni – Business and Technology.

Alex serves as the Events Chair and Treasurer for the Kellogg Alumni Club of  The Bay Area.  Alex is also a member of Kellogg's "Dean's Council" and Northwestern's "Leadership Council".  Alex is also a member of the Rotary Club of San Mateo and the Chair of the Burlingame Dads' Club.

Alex served on the Board of Governors of the pro-bono tech charity IT Resource Center for 5 years, and was subsequently named Marketing Committee Chair and to the Technology Steering Committee for the Chicago Public Schools.

Alex is the main trimmer for the Beneteau 42.7 Cirque, ranked #1 overall in their division for the 2007 Bay Area ocean racing season, won 1st place at the Banderas Bay Blast in December on Cirque in Puerto Vallarta, won 1st place in the 2008 YRA Season Closer as Main Trimmer on the Farr 40, Astra, and won 1st place in the 2010 Wheeler Regatta as Main Trimmer on the Santa Cruz 50, Deception.  Alex recently finished his 4th marathon in San Francisco.
